Looking for More
than a Cookie-Cutter Training Program?
A lot of the big box companies use a “cookie-cutter” approach, that consists of one training method or plan, to train every dog.
Many dog owners find that those cookie-cutter programs don’t address their specific needs or help them build a lasting bond with their pets.
Not only do we offer personalized and adaptive training programs, but we also offer ways to continue growing your bond and skills with your dog for long-term success. Follow the button below to schedule your one on one session with our trainer, where he will get to know you and your dog and create a custom plan to fit your needs.

Meet the Tainer!
Jake started his journey with dogs when he was 18 years old and deployed to Afghanistan as a Tactical Explosive Detection Dog Handler in the U.S. Army.
After getting out of the Army, Jake began a career with the Midland County Sheriff’s Office, where he spent 4 of those years as the Animal Control Deputy. During that time, Jake saw many dogs be rehomed due to their rambunctious behavior. Many of these dogs were anxious and just needed an outlet.
This helped push Jake into teaching dog owners how to help their dog be less anxious. When Jake adopted his retired working dog Shira he noticed many of the same anxious behaviors in her, like pacing nonstop, barking randomly, and never really “settling down”. Jake focused on helping Shira become calmer and more comfortable in her new life outside of finding IEDs.
In 2019 Jake adopted a Belgian Malinois, Creed, from the local shelter, who was very nervous. Creed has now become a popular face in training sessions around K9 O.T.S., helping other dogs who are anxious and reactive toward dogs.
Jake now enjoys teaching other dog owners who are having the same challenges with their dogs how to help their dog become calmer and less anxious.
